Criminal Justice
The safety of the citizens of the United States is of the utmost importance in the Independent American Party. Just as the Constitution states, our Party and Candidate understands speedy trial and fitting punishments. Instead of imprisonment, our Party favors using criminals for more useful purposes including community service and works restoration.
Enviornment
Our Party understands the need of the protection of the environment, but also believes that a healthy balance between development and protection is necessary. The American Independent party understands that legislation is necessary for the protection of the environment, but does not believe in international legislation, specifically United Nations action.
Education
Our party greatly values education, as it is our way of ensuring that our rich history and important values continue to be passed from generation to generation. Our faith in God is established in our constitution, and an important moral law must be pursued. The Bible should be taught in all schools, and sexual activity outside of marriage should be abstained.
Economy
Our party believes that there are some necessary economic restrictions that must be upheld by our government, but that a general "free enterprise" economy should be used. Our party believes in a strict interpretation of the constitution, specifically taxation, and should work toward eliminating our National Debt.
Energy
Further development in energy is absolutely necessary for the further sustainment, as our population continues to grow. Currently, our Party supports coal, oil, agriculture, nuclear, and other forms of energy, and also believes in using and researching alternative energy sources such as wind, fuel cells, and solar power.
